By forming partnerships with local law enforcement and public safety organizations, Project Lifesaver of
Palm Beach County deploys specially trained teams with the most reliable technology available to quickly
locate and return wandering adults and children to their families and caregivers.
Project Lifesaver relies on proven radio technology and a specially trained search and rescue team.
Clients that are enrolled in the Project Lifesaver program wear a personalized wristband that emits a
tracking signal.
When Caregivers notify 911 that their Project Lifesaver participant is missing, they deploy law personnel
enforcement trained in Project Lifesaver's special search techniques and utilizing state of the art loved
one equipment to locate the that wandered. The search and rescue team responds to the point last seen
and participant's begins tracking the specific assigned frequency with the equipment. Search times have
been reduced minutes. In by days to hours to over 1900 searches,Project Lifesaver International has not
reported serious injuries or deaths. Recovery times average less than 30 minutes.
